Loved the production and the theatre, which is small but perfectly formed. The energy on staged was breath taking and the time honoured script is still as amusing as ever. Thoroughly enjoyed myself but the g&t's were a tad pricey!

Mrs Davies

Totally awesome.Real belly laughs.

Sarah Ward

Amazing voices, not a single weak link, great cast chemisty. Set and costume were fantastic. Not sure about the song normalising being stabbed by your boyfriend but all in all it was a great show. Worth seeing before it closes!

Michael

I loved the show but you need to beware of a small session of strobe lighting midway through

Michael Weber

Typical Mel Brooks comedy, perfect cast and happy tunes....sorry there was no CD to buy...

Anthony Saunders

Great stage setting. Humour a bit basic. A few laugh out loud moments. Although some good singers I thought most of the actual songs rather weak. Unless you are a Mel Brooks fan you might prefer to choose something else.

Charalambos Charalambos

The actual play was fantastic, but the view was terrible even for relatively expensive seats, and it was very hot in the theatre.

Lauren Fisher

It was an amazing show and I am sad to see it leave the west end! Great theatre also and the free upgrade was AMAZING

Helen Hughes

What a slick production. Outstanding performanceservice from lead , lesley joseph and monster which stood out. Throughly recommend it.

Ervin Terwilliger

Show was incredibly entertaining. My entire family loved it.

Samantha Rosalinda

So funny! I hadn’t seen the film but will now. Would highly recommend. Theatre was lovely too.

Mrs Michelle Cox

Lovely theatre, lovely staff, great show. We were a mixed group of adults and children and all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Young Frankenstein "silly, witty, fun and clever"

Do you like Vaudeville? Do you like all-round entertainment; singing, dancing and comedy routines? Then Young Frankenstein is right up your Tin Pan Alley. I think I’ll leave the puns to Mel Brooks, whose tremendous gift for writing sharp, silly, satirical, scripts and songs is perfectly matched by the performances of the talented cast of Young Frankenstein. Mel Brooks is joyfully irreverent, Young Frankenstein doesn’t take itself too seriously, it makes fun of itself as well as the various genres it mocks. It was like watching a series of musical comedy acts, doing their turns in a variety or Vaudeville show.

5 Reasons to see Young Frankenstein

It’s currently been 12 hours since I left the Garrick theatre and my sides still hurt from laughing. I warn you now, Young Frankenstein is beyond hilarious and you’ll probably leave the theatre with considerably stronger abdominal strength than you entered with. So, if you’re sore the day after, you can’t say you weren’t warned. It’s clear what I think the main reason you should see this wonderful musical is, but the reasons don’t stop there.
